Mumbai, 16 Sep (Commoditiescontrol): According to OILWORLD, significant crop losses in the Black Sea region are projected to reduce global sunflower oil exports by at least 2.1 million tonnes during the October 2024 to September 2025 period.

The majority of the demand adjustments are expected in the latter half of the season, prompting consumers to substitute sunflower oil with alternatives, primarily soybean oil.

This shift in consumption patterns could reshape the vegetable oil market dynamics globally.
