Mumbai, September 17 (Commodities Control): Amid weak buying due to subdued demand in dal, Solapur pulse market has witnessed decline in tur and chana prices this morning. However, urad and moong prices remained steady.
The Pink variety tur prices decreased by Rs 100 to trade at Rs 11,000 per quintal. However, average quality tur prices remained stable to quote in the range of Rs 10,500 to Rs 10,800 per quintal. Today, the market saw arrival of 5 truckloads, matching the figure noted on the previous trading day.
Turning to Chana, mill-quality Chana prices went down by Rs 100 to trade in the range of Rs 6,500 to Rs 7,600 per quintal. Similarly, Annagiri Chana prices decreased by Rs 100 to quote in the range of Rs 6,700 to Rs 7,800 per quintal. Today, the market saw the arrival of 5 truckloads, matching the arrival figure noted on the previous trading day.
Urad prices stood firm to trade in the range of Rs 6,500 to Rs 8,000 per quintal. The market witnessed arrival of 25 trucks today, down from the previous arrival of 35 trucks.
Additionally, new moong prices hold steady to quote in the range of Rs 7,200 to 8,300 per quintal. The market saw arrival of 4 trucks of new moong, matching the figure noted on the previous trading day.
