Jaipur, Sep 20 (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed, oil and cake prices fell in the market of Jaipur on Friday due to slow buying at higher level. However, the other major markets of north India, mostly in Delhi and Haryana witnessed firmer tone further as the prices of imported edible oils were quoted higher.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned dropped Rs 50 to Rs 7050-7075 per quintal (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices fell Rs 17 to Rs 1444-1445 per 10kg.
Kachchi Ghani prices also dropped Rs 17 to 1444-1445 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices were Rs 15 down at Rs 2700-2705 per quintal in Jaipur.
Prices of mustard seed gained Rs 25 to Rs 6675-6725 per quintal in Delhi and mustard oil expeller traded Rs 15 up at Rs 1415 per 10kg.
In Charkhi Dadri, prices of mustard seed rose Rs 25 to Rs 6650-6700 per quintal and mustard oil expeller traded Rs 10 up at Rs 1400 per 10kg. Cake prices were Rs 10 up at Rs 2700 per quintal in Charkhi Dadri.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 2.70 lakh bags across the country. Arrivals of mustard seed were 1.25 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 25,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 40,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 15,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 15,000 bags in Gujarat. Arrivals were 50,000 bags in the other major markets of the country.
At Kandla port, crude palm oil (CPO) traded Rs gained Rs 25 to Rs 1200 per 10kg while RBD pamolein was quoted Rs 10 higher at Rs 1260 per 10kg. Soy oil refine was offered Rs 15 higher at Rs 1215 and degum gained Rs 25 to Rs 925 per 10kg.sunflower refine traded flat at Rs 1220 per 10kg.
