Jaipur, Sep 21 (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed prices were flat in Jaipur with stable arrivals on Saturday. However, prices of oilseed fell in the markets of Dekhi and Haryana tracking weakness in mustard oil and cake.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned were flat at Rs 7050-7075 per quintal (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices fell Rs 3 to Rs 1441-1442 per 10kg.
Kachchi Ghani prices also dropped Rs 3 to 1451-1452 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices were Rs 10 down at Rs 2690-2695 per quintal in Jaipur.
Prices of mustard seed declined Rs 25 to Rs 6650-6700 per quintal in Delhi and mustard oil expeller traded Rs 15 down at Rs 1400 per 10kg.
In Charkhi Dadri, prices of mustard seed fell Rs 25 to Rs 6625-6675 per quintal and mustard oil expeller traded Rs 10 down at Rs 1390 per 10kg. Cake prices were flat at Rs 2700 per quintal in Charkhi Dadri.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 2.70 lakh bags across the country. Arrivals of mustard seed were 1.25 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 25,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 40,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 15,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 15,000 bags in Gujarat. Arrivals were 50,000 bags in the other major markets of the country.
