Mumbai, 04 Oct 2024 (Commoditiescontrol):Kabuli Chana prices edged higher in Indore's mandi trade on Friday, while container trade prices held steady. Madhya Pradesh reported the arrival of approximately 3,000 bags, with 1,600 bags received at Indore mandi.
In Mumbai, Sudan-origin Kabuli Chana maintained stable prices at ₹7,500 per quintal. Meanwhile, in Indore, local mandi prices saw an uptick of ₹100, ranging from ₹12,000 to ₹14,500 per quintal. Container trade quotes remained unchanged, and the PKV2 variety in Jalgaon recorded no price movement overnight.
In Delhi, the AP Line and Karnataka Line traded between ₹10,400 and ₹12,000 per quintal, with Maharashtra's PKV2 variety and the Indore Line (Mexico Double Dollar) holding steady at ₹13,700 to ₹16,000 per quintal.
Looking ahead, Kabuli Chana prices are expected to stabilize, with potential upward movement as demand picks up during the festive season, including Navratri, the wedding season, and Ramadan. These events are projected to boost demand, providing solid support to prices in the coming weeks.
