New Delhi, October 5 (Commodities Control): Cotton prices have remained stable in the markets of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with little change observed on Friday due to limited demand from spinning mills. Daily arrivals of Kapas in these states also held steady.
Traders report that cotton prices have remained unchanged for the second consecutive day, primarily because local and export demand for yarn is weaker than usual. New export deals for cotton are virtually negligible, and prices in the global market continue to trend low, leading to expectations of increased imports this season. As a result, there is little optimism for a price increase in the near term. Both Kapas and cottonseed prices have also stabilized in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
