Jaipur, October 5 (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed prices steady on Saturday and weak supply (arrivals in the spot the spot market) and demand. Some of the markets, usually,remain close on Saturday.
However, traders were expecting more upsides in the coming days.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned were flat at Rs 7025-7050 per quintal (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices gained Re 1 to Re 1451-1452 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also rose Re 1 to 1461-1462 per 10kg.
Mustard cake prices were Rs 35 down at Rs 2600-2605 per quintal in Jaipur.
Prices of mustard seed stayed flat Rs 6675-6725 per quintal in Delhi and mustard oil expeller traded steady at 1400 per 10kg.
In Charkhi Dadri, prices of mustard seed ruled steady at Rs 6650-6700 per quintal and mustard oil expeller traded flat at Rs 1385 per 10kg. Cake prices were also flat at Rs 2680 per quintal in Charkhi Dadri.

Total arrivals of mustard seed were 2.5 lakh bags across the country, 75000 baga down from last session.
Arrivals of mustard seed were 1.40 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 25,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 35,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 5,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 10,000 bags in Gujarat. Arrivals were 35,000 bags in the other major markets of the country.
