Mumbai Pulse Market Holds Steady; Slight Uptick in Urad and Masoor Prices Noted

Mumbai, October 08 (Commodities Control): Mumbai pulse market has witnessed overall stability in tur and chana prices this morning. However, slight increase in urad and masoor prices noted during the trading session. Here are the latest updates from the market:

Pigeon Pea (Tur): Witnessing stability across the varieties, Lemon tur prices quoted at Rs 9,400 per quintal, Sudan variety at Rs 10,400 per quintal, Red Lakoti at Rs 7,500 per quintal, Matwara tur at Rs 7,650 per quintal, Mozambique: Gajar at Rs 7,700 per quintal, Mozambique: White at Rs 7,900 per quintal, Tanzania-Bariyadi at Rs 8,200 per quintal, Kenya-Rose tur at Rs 7,900 per quintal, Tanzania-White at Rs 7,400 per quintal, and Dodoma tur at Rs 7,500 per quintal.

Pea (Matar): Witnessing stability across the varieties, Russian Yellow matar prices quoted at Rs 3,550 per quintal, Canada Yellow quoted at Rs 3,850 per quintal, Russian Yellow ex Hajira port at Rs 3,550 per quintal, Russian Yellow ex Mundra port at Rs 3,550 per quintal, and Canada Yellow ex Mundra port stood at Rs 3,650 per quintal. However, Canada Yellow ex Hajira port prices declined slightly by Rs 50 to trade at Rs 3,650 per quintal

Urad: The price of FAQ Urad surged by Rs 50 during the opening session of trade to quote at Rs 8,550 per quintal.

Chickpea (Chana): Witnessing stability in prices across the varieties, Sudan variety Chana prices quoted at Rs 7,500 per quintal, Tanzania chana at Rs 6,950 per quintal, Tanzania new variety at Rs 7,100 per quintal, Australia Chana at Rs 7,350 per quintal and Mundra-Australia new variety at Rs 7,400 per quintal.

Lentil (Masoor): Witnessing similar increase of Rs 25, Canada Masoor ex Mundra port prices quoted at Rs 6075 per quintal, Canada Masoor ex Hajira port at Rs 6,100 per quintal, anada Crimson in containers at Rs 6,175/6,200 per quintal, Australia Nipper in containers at Rs 6,175/6,200 per quintal and Australia Jambo in containers at Rs 6,225/6,250 per quintal.
