Ahmedabad, October 8 (CommoditiesControl): The coriander market in Gujarat has experienced a period of stability over the past two days, primarily due to limited demand and steady arrivals. With no significant trading activity in exports, local traders report sufficient supply to meet their needs, resulting in minimal price fluctuations.
Today, approximately 8,500 bags of coriander were brought to market in Gujarat, maintaining an average price range of Rs 1,330 to Rs 1,510 per 20 kg.
In Gondal Mandi, 5,720 bags were traded within a price range of Rs 1,351 to Rs 1,581 per 20 kg, against an arrival of 5,000 bags. Meanwhile, the Rajkot market recorded trades at Rs 1,170 to Rs 1,500 with the arrival of 750 bags. Other markets also saw notable activity: Junagadh welcomed 1,000 bags, Jetpur received 500 bags, and Jamjodhpur reported 700 bags, along with additional arrivals totaling around 700 bags.
Looking ahead, if arrivals continue at the current pace, experts suggest there is little likelihood of a price increase in the coriander market in the coming days.
