New Delhi, November 11 (CommoditiesControl): Mentha oil prices remained stable to slightly higher in the primary spot markets today. In Uttar Pradesh's key trading hubs, including Chandausi and Barabanki, prices showed minor increases, reflecting steady demand and limited supply.
Spot prices in Chandausi reported at approximately ₹1,020-1,025 per kg, up by around ₹5 per kg from the previous session, while in Barabanki, prices hovered around ₹1,015-1,020 per kg. Sources indicate a consistent domestic demand, especially from pharmaceutical and flavoring industries, supporting spot prices.
Analysts expect mentha oil prices to maintain stability with an upward bias as winter approaches, traditionally a period of increased demand. However, any significant change in supply levels could influence price movements in the coming sessions.
