The price of mentha oil was seen trading in the range of ₹1,650 to ₹1,700 per kg, showing a slight decrease from previous levels due to moderate buying activity. While there were some short-term fluctuations, overall demand continued to be steady, particularly from the fragrance and pharmaceutical sectors.
The market outlook for mentha oil remains cautious, with prices expected to stabilize in the near term as supply and demand maintain balance. Any significant movements in global demand or changes in the production cycle could cause volatility, but for now, the market appears poised for a period of stability.
Mentha Oil contract for JAN delivery settled at Rs 920.1/quintal showing an rise of Rs 1.2 over previous close of Rs 918.9/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 918-921 for the day. Open interest decreased by -28 MT to 179 MT, while trading volume decreased by -9 to 60 MT.
Mentha Oil contract for FEB delivery settled at Rs 933.3/quintal showing an rise of Rs 2.2 over previous close of Rs 931.1/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 929.3-935.3 for the day. Open interest increased by 17 MT to 271 MT, while trading volume increased by 2 to 45 MT.
Mentha Oil contract for MAR delivery settled at Rs 944/quintal showing an rise of Rs 4 over previous close of Rs 940/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 943.9-945 for the day. Open interest increased by 6 MT to 10 MT, while trading volume increased by 3 to 6 MT.
