India Soybean Prices Decline Due to Sowing Season

Mumbai, June 10 (Commodities Control) - The Indian soybean market has seen a noticeable decline in prices, primarily attributed to the ongoing sowing season. However, arrivals are on the positive side. Total arrivals nationwide have reached 250,000 bags, with leading producer Madhya Pradesh contributing 125,000 bags. Maharashtra follows with 100,000 bags, and Rajasthan with 13,000 bags.



Soybean prices have varied across regions. In Madhya Pradesh, prices ranged from Rs 4,450 to Rs 4,650 per quintal, while in Maharashtra, they fluctuated between Rs 4,400 and Rs 4,600 per quintal. Rajasthan saw prices ranging from Rs 4,500 to Rs 4,600 per quintal.

Soybean plant prices also displayed regional differences. Madhya Pradesh reported prices between Rs 4,650 and Rs 4,750 per quintal, while Maharashtra witnessed fluctuations from Rs 4,625 to Rs 4,725 per quintal. Rajasthan saw prices ranging from Rs 4,650 to Rs 4,700 per quintal.
