MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - Warangal market remained closed this week due to election and will re-open on 15th April (Monday).
Peak arrivals in Byadgi market is almost completed. The market receives 40,000-50,000 bags compared to previous week’s level of over 1.80 lakh bags.
In Guntur, the major varieties; Teja, 334, 273 (Half wrinkled), 341 and DD price witnessed a slight decline of INR 100 per quintal. However, export demand for Indian chilli is reported well at present. In coming days, the market is expected to stable at the current levels. Slight range bound can also be expected.
Market-wise arrivals during the week
Guntur market remained closed during 10th and 11th April due to general election. On 12th April, no new arrivals witnessed, but old balance sales stood at 35,000 bags.
