Mentha oil prices fall on dull demand

New Delhi, 22 July (Commoditiescontrol) Mentha oil prices dropped on Thursday in the physical markets and futures as well due to dull demand. Traders said that demand for mentha oil were weak due to rains received in the areas.



Mentha oil prices dropped Rs 7 to Rs. 1,040 per kg at Rampur and Rs 8 down at Rs 1,025 per kg at Sambhal.



July contract of mentha oil
ended Rs 11.20 or 1.17 percent lower at Rs 946.90/ Kg on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) today. Mentha oil Aug contract finished Rs 11.80 or 1.21 percent down at Rs 961.70/Kg on the MCX.
