New Delhi, 30 July (Commoditiescontrol) The government on Friday left the tariff rates for imports of palm oils and crude soybean oil unchanged.
As per the notification issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs, under the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), the tariff value for crude palm oil is unchanged at $1,029 per tonne, RBD palm oil at $1,055, others palm oil at $1,042, crude palmolein at $1,061 per tonnes, RBD palmolein at $1,064 per tonne, others palmolein $1,063 and crude soybean oil at $1,028 per tonne.
Earlier this month, tariff value for Crude palm oil (CPO) was revised from $ 1,036 to $1,029 per tonne on July 15, 2021. Similarly, tariff value of RBD palmolein was revised from $1,068 to $1,064 per tonne.
Rates of CPO and RBD palm oil were revised to $ 1029 and $1,055 per tonne respectively and the tariff value of other palm oil to $1,042 per tonne. Tariff value of crude palmolein was revised to $1,061 per tonnes and that of RBD palmolein to $ 1,064 per tonne.
The revised tariff value of other palmolein was revised to $1,063 per tonne and tariff value of crude soya bean oil was revised to $1,228 per tonne.
