MUMBAI, 16 May (Commoditiescontrol) White Pea prices traded firm at Kanpur market last week ended on 14th May 2022 on selected buying from local and outside traders and decreasing arrivals.

White Pea prices at Kanpur market firmed by Rs 25 at Rs 4,550-4,750/100Kg.

Most of the Stockiest have procured the stock around Rs 5,400-5,500/100Kg and were facing notional losses on their stock.

On another hand, Vatana besan and dal remained unchanged each at Rs 3,900/50Kg and Rs 6,000, respectively.

Trend: There is a limited downside from the current level of White pea due to decreasing arrivals of new domestic crop and no supply from overseas due to import restrictions. White Pea prices are likely to trade rangebound with limited activity.
