NEW DELHI, June 24 (Commoditiescontrol) - US net soybean sales were at 29,300 metric tonnes (MT) for the week ended June 16, lowest in the marketing year 2021/2022 starting September 1, down 91 percent from the previous week and 88 percent from the prior 4-week average.
US net soybean sales were at 317,200 MT for the week ended June 9.
Increases were primarily for Germany (68,400 MT), Colombia (17,600 MT, including 17,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 400 MT), Canada (10,900 MT), Japan (7,600 MT, including decreases of 55,000 MT), and China (6,300 MT, including decreases of 198,000 MT), were offset by reductions primarily for unknown destinations (92,400 MT).
Net sales of 265,000 MT for 2022/2023 reported for unknown destinations (105,100 MT), Costa Rica (75,500 MT), China (66,000 MT), and Japan (25,000 MT), were offset by reductions for Mexico (6,600 MT).
Exports of 494,100 MT were down 30 percent from the previous week and 1 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Mexico (121,500 MT), Egypt (105,200 MT), China (73,200 MT), Germany (68,400 MT), and Pakistan (58,200 MT).
Export for Own Account: For 2021/2022, the current exports for own account outstanding balance is 6,300 MT, all Canada.
Export Adjustment: Accumulated exports of soybeans to the Netherlands were adjusted down 68,416 MT for week ending May 26th. The correct destination for this shipment is Germany.
Soybean Cake and Meal
Net sales reductions of 8,200 MT for 2021/2022--a marketing-year low--were down noticeably from the previous week and from the prior 4-week average.
Increases primarily for the Dominican Republic (21,000 MT), Canada (13,600 MT, including decreases of 4,300 MT), Venezuela (5,000 MT), Colombia (4,000 MT, including decreases of 41,700 MT), and Japan (3,600 MT), were offset by reductions primarily for the Philippines (42,200 MT), the United Kingdom (10,000 MT), and Ireland (9,000 MT).
Net sales of 42,300 MT for 2022/2023 were reported for Honduras (15,600 MT), Guatemala (12,000 MT), El Salvador (12,000 MT), and Canada (2,700 MT).
Exports of 214,000 MT were down 5 percent from the previous week, but up 6 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Colombia (87,800 MT), the Philippines (24,800 MT), Canada (24,800 MT), Mexico (23,600 MT), and Nicaragua (12,600 MT).
Soybean Oil
Net sales of 1,400 MT for 2021/2022 were down 78 percent from the previous week and 69 percent from the prior 4-week average.
Increases reported for Mexico (4,000 MT) and Canada (400 MT), were offset by reductions for Guatemala (3,000 MT).
Exports of 7,700 MT were down 53 percent from the previous week and 16 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were to Mexico (7,200 MT) and Canada (500 MT).
