Malaysia Palm Oil Inventory Falls 10.5% to 3-Year Lows MPOB

Mumbai (Commodities Control) – Malaysia's palm oil inventories at the end of July sank 10.55% from June to 1.7 million tonnes, the lowest since June 2017, according to industry regulator the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) on Monday.

July crude palm oil production fell 4.14% from the previous month to 1.81 million tonnes.

Palm oil exports rose 4.19% on-month to 1.78 million tonnes, MPOB said.

A poll had forecast July inventories would plunge 11.94% to 1.67 million tonnes. Production had been expected to fall 5%, while exports were forecast to rise 2%.
