Indian Soybean Arrivals Decrease as Market Remains Stable

Mumbai, May 25 (Commodities Control) - The Indian soybean market is witnessing a notable decline in arrivals, with stability prevailing in the market.
Total soybean arrivals across the nation have amounted to 135,000 bags, with Madhya Pradesh, the leading soybean producer in the country, contributing 50,000 bags. Maharashtra reported a significant arrival of 75,000 bags, while Rajasthan reported 5,000 bags. The remaining states collectively accounted for an additional 5,000 bags in cumulative arrivals.


Various mandis (markets) across the country have observed fluctuations in soybean prices, reflecting regional dynamics. In Madhya Pradesh, soybean prices ranged from Rs 4,550 to Rs 4,750 per quintal. Maharashtra witnessed price fluctuations, with rates oscillating between Rs 4,525 and Rs 4,700 per quintal, while Rajasthan reported prices ranging from Rs 4,600 to Rs 4,700 per quintal.

Shifting focus to soybean plant prices, Madhya Pradesh recorded prices in the range of Rs 4,775 to Rs 4,875 per quintal. Maharashtra witnessed variability in plant prices, with rates fluctuating between Rs 4,750 and Rs 4,850 per quintal. Meanwhile, in Rajasthan, plant prices were reported in the range of Rs 4,750 to Rs 4,800 per quintal.
