Mumbai, April 27 (Commodities Control) - The Indian soybean market is witnessing a notable surge in arrivals, driven by stability in market conditions.
Total soybean arrivals have reached 280,000 bags nationwide, with Madhya Pradesh, the leading soybean producer, contributing 125,000 bags. Maharashtra reported a substantial arrival of 125,000 bags, while Rajasthan reported 15,000 bags. The remaining states collectively accounted for an additional 15,000 bags in cumulative arrivals.
The fluctuating prices in various mandis across the country reflect regional dynamics. In Madhya Pradesh, soybean prices ranged from Rs 4,525 to Rs 4,725 per quintal. Maharashtra observed price fluctuations between Rs 4,525 and Rs 4,700 per quintal, while Rajasthan reported prices ranging from Rs 4,600 to Rs 4,700 per quintal.
Plant prices also exhibited variability across regions. In Madhya Pradesh, prices were recorded in the range of Rs 4,750 to Rs 4,850 per quintal. Maharashtra witnessed plant prices fluctuating between Rs 4,700 and Rs 4,800 per quintal, while in Rajasthan, prices ranged from Rs 4,725 to Rs 4,775 per quintal.
The surge in soybean arrivals amidst stable market conditions underscores the resilience of the Indian agricultural sector, as it continues to navigate through various challenges.
