Jaipur, 11 May (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed complex saw bullish mood on Saturday amid robust buying activities. Arrivals were steady while demand for mustard seed increased tracking firmness in the prices mustard oil and cake.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned rose Rs 100 to Rs 5550-5575 per quintal (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices gained Rs 25 to Rs 1040-1041 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also rose Rs 25 to 1050-1051 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices gained Rs 35 to Rs 2680-2685 per quintal in Jaipur.
In Delhi, mustard seed prices were quoted Rs 100 higher at Rs 5425-5475 per quintal. Mustard oil expeller was quoted Rs 30 higher at Rs 1040 per 10 kg in the market of Delhi.
In the market of Charkhi Dadri of Haryana, prices of mustard seed gained Rs 100 to Rs 5375-5425 per quintal and mustard oil expeller traded Rs 30 higher at Rs 1030 per 10kg while cake prices rose Rs 25 to Rs 2625 per quintal.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 4.25 lakh bags across the country, down one lakh bags from the last session. Arrivals of mustard seed were around 2.5 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 40,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 40,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 20,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 15,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 60,000 bags of mustard seed.
