Indian Soybean Arrivals Surge as Oil Prices Rise

Mumbai, June 24 (Commodities Control) - The Indian soybean market is witnessing a significant increase in arrivals, driven by the rising oil prices. Total soybean arrivals across the country have reached 230,000 bags. Madhya Pradesh, the leading soybean producer in India, has contributed 100,000 bags. Maharashtra has reported a substantial arrival of 100,000 bags, while Rajasthan has seen 15,000 bags. The remaining states have collectively accounted for an additional 15,000 bags.



Various mandis across the country have observed fluctuations in soybean prices, reflecting regional dynamics. In Madhya Pradesh, soybean prices ranged from Rs 4,450 to Rs 4,650 per quintal. Maharashtra observed price variations, with rates hovering between Rs 4,400 and Rs 4,650 per quintal. In Rajasthan, prices ranged from Rs 4,450 to Rs 4,600 per quintal.

Soybean plant prices also showed variability. In Madhya Pradesh, plant prices ranged from Rs 4,650 to Rs 4,750 per quintal. In Maharashtra, plant prices fluctuated between Rs 4,700 and Rs 4,780 per quintal. In Rajasthan, plant prices were recorded in the range of Rs 4,625 to Rs 4,700 per quintal
