Mumbai, 22 May (Commoditiescontrol): According to a conservative forecast, Ukraine's grain and oilseed harvest in 2024 is expected to reach 73 million tonnes. This announcement was made by Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Representative of Ukraine, during a meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Latvian Commission on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, Ukrinform reports.
Kachka also expressed optimism that the actual harvest could surpass this conservative estimate and approach last year's total of 79 million tonnes. This optimistic outlook reflects Ukraine's potential to maintain high levels of agricultural productivity despite current challenges.
