Mumbai, 21 Jun (Commoditiescontrol): Copper inventories in warehouses monitored by the Shanghai Futures Exchange decreased by 2.4% compared to a week earlier (June 14), the exchange reported on Friday.
Copper saw a notable reduction of 7,843 metric tons, marking a 2.4% decrease from last week, with on-warrant stocks also dropping by 11,386 metric tons. Aluminium stocks rose by 4,436 metric tons, or 2.0%, while zinc stocks increased by 2,699 metric tons, up 2.2%. Lead inventories experienced a significant decline, dropping by 11,497 metric tons, or 17.5%, with on-warrant stocks falling by 10,301 metric tons. Nickel and tin stocks also saw decreases, with nickel down by 2,076 metric tons (8.4%) and tin by 625 metric tons (3.9%).
