Guar Gum and Guar Seed Prices Steady in Spot Market

New Delhi, May 29 (Commodities Control): Guar gum and guar seed prices remained steady in the spot market today. However, futures contracts showed slight increases, reflecting a stable yet cautiously optimistic market sentiment.

GuarSeed contract for JUN delivery settled at Rs 5497/quintal showing an rise of Rs 21 over previous close of Rs 5476/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 5475-5509 for the day. Open interest decreased by -1915 MT to 42605 MT, while trading volume decreased by -3565 to 8650 MT.

GuarSeed contract for JUL delivery settled at Rs 5556/quintal showing an rise of Rs 19 over previous close of Rs 5537/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 5535-5568 for the day. Open interest increased by 1615 MT to 18520 MT, while trading volume decreased by -2210 to 6135 MT.

Currently The spread between JUN and JUL contract is -59 Rs/quintal.

GUARSEED stock in NCDEX accredited warehouse as on 29-May-2024, was 22959 MT

GuarGum contract for JUN delivery settled at Rs 10725/quintal showing an rise of Rs 22 over previous close of Rs 10703/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 10695-10775 for the day. Open interest decreased by -2795 MT to 32610 MT, while trading volume decreased by -2175 to 5375 MT.

GuarGum contract for JUL delivery settled at Rs 10869/quintal showing an rise of Rs 27 over previous close of Rs 10842/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 10832-10918 for the day. Open interest increased by 3145 MT to 18660 MT, while trading volume decreased by -1305 to 5065 MT.

Currently The spread between JUN and JUL contract is -144 Rs/quintal.
