New Delhi, June 25 (Commoditiescontrol) Menath oil prices were dropped in the physical markets and futures Tuesday due to lacklustre demand. Buying activities were down after a firmer tone witnessed in the last session.
Mentha oil prices were quoted Rs 6 down at Rs 950-952 per kg in the market of Chandausi. Mentha oil prices were also quoted Rs 10 down at Rs 900 per kg in the market of Barabanki today.
Mentha oil future contract for delivery in July was Rs 9.4 down at Rs 914.2 per kg at Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) with open interest of 488 and volume of 193.
Mentha oil future contract for delivery in June was Rs 4.2 up at Rs 900 per kg at Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) with open interest of 23 and volume of 8.
Mentha Oil contract for JUN delivery settled at Rs 900/quintal showing an rise of Rs 4.2 over previous close of Rs 895.8/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 890.1-905 for the day. Open interest decreased by -36 MT to 23 MT, while trading volume decreased by -120 to 8 MT.
Mentha Oil contract for JUL delivery settled at Rs 914.2/quintal showing an fall of Rs -9.4 over previous close of Rs 923.6/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 914.2-927.8 for the day. Open interest was simillar by 0 MT to 488 MT, while trading volume decreased by -110 to 193 MT.
Mentha Oil contract for AUG delivery settled at Rs 931.8/quintal showing an fall of Rs -1.6 over previous close of Rs 933.4/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 931-933 for the day. Open interest increased by 5 MT to 67 MT, while trading volume decreased by -4 to 13 MT.
