Mumbai, April 08 (Commodities Control): In the midst of robust purchasing by millers and a lack of supply aligning with arrivals, the tur prices in the Solapur pulse market surged notably this morning. Concurrently, mill-quality chana prices also showed uptick in prices during the opening session of trade.
The Pink variety new tur prices surged by Rs 300 to trade in the range of Rs 10,900 to Rs 11,600 per quintal. The market saw the arrival of 25 truckloads, while the arrival of 22 trucks noted on the previous trading day.
Turning to Chana, mill-quality Chana prices increased by Rs 50 to trade within the range of Rs 5,600 to Rs 5,950 per quintal. However, Annagiri Chana prices hold steady to quote in the range of Rs 6,000 to Rs 6,300 per quintal. Today, the market saw the arrival of 2 truckloads, matching the number recorded on the previous trading day.
