MUMBAI, 17 Jun (Commoditiescontrol): Pulses markets across major parts of the country were closed today, June 17, in observance of Eid-ul-Adha. This significant Islamic festival, also known as the "Festival of Sacrifice," led to the suspension of trading activities in these markets.

As traders and market participants celebrate the holiday, trading activity is expected to be limited. The closure affects key pulses markets, including those dealing in commodities such as lentils, chickpeas, and various types of beans, impacting both wholesale and retail transactions.

Normal trading activity will resume on Tuesday
