Cotton Arrivals in Major Producing States Total 30,500 Bales

New Delhi, May 17 (Commodities Control): The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states across the country reached 30,500 bales on Friday, slightly down from the 31,500 bales reported on the previous trading day.

Of the total arrivals, Punjab and Haryana along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan accounted for 1,300 bales. 7,000 bales arrived in Gujarat, 17,000 bales in Maharashtra, 1,200 bales in Madhya Pradesh and 2,500 bales in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana. Apart from this, 0 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 1,500 bales in Karnataka mandis and 0 bales in Odisha.
