Major Producing States Receive 40,300 Bales of Cotton

New Delhi, April 19 (Commodities Control): The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states of the country on Friday stood at 40,300 bales, matching the arrival figure recorded on the previous trading day.

Of the total arrivals, 4,000 bales arrived in Punjab and Haryana and Upper and Lower Rajasthan. 12,000 bales arrived in Gujarat, 18,000 bales in Maharashtra, 2,000 bales in Madhya Pradesh and 3,100 bales in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana. Apart from this, 0 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 2,000 bales in Karnataka mandis and 0 bales in Odisha.
