Indore, June 24 (Commodities Control): Today, on the first trading day of the week, cotton arrivals in Madhya Pradesh mandis saw a decrease of 100 bales. Meanwhile, prices for Kapas, cotton seed, and cotton candy remained unchanged.
In Madhya Pradesh mandis today (Monday), Kapas arrivals dropped by 100 bales compared to the previous day, totaling 400 to 500 bales (one bale = 170 kg).
The average price of Kapas in Madhya Pradesh stayed steady at Rs 6000 to Rs 7300 per quintal during trading. Similarly, cotton seed prices showed no variation, maintaining stability at Rs 2850 to Rs 3150 per quintal.
Prices for cotton candy remained stable as well. In Madhya Pradesh, 29 mm 75 RD cotton was trading between Rs 56200 and Rs 56700 per candy (1 candy = 356 kg), while 28.5 mm cotton was priced at Rs 55500 to Rs 56000 per candy.

- Barwah (3 quintals arrived) - Rs 6275
