Major Producing States Receive 19,800 Bales of Cotton

New Delhi, June 27 (Commodities Control): Cotton arrivals in mandis across the country totaled 19,800 bales on Thursday, compared to 21,100 bales on the previous trading day.

In Punjab, Haryana, and Upper and Lower Rajasthan, 500 bales of cotton arrived. Gujarat saw the arrival of 4,500 bales, while Maharashtra recorded 10,000 bales. Madhya Pradesh had an arrival of 200 bales.

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana collectively saw 1,800 bales arriving in their mandis. Tamil Nadu also recorded 1,800 bales, and Karnataka saw 1,000 bales. There were no cotton arrivals in Odisha.
