Cotton Candy Prices Surge by Rs 300 in Madhya Pradesh

Indore, July 5 (Commodities Control): On Friday, cotton arrival in the markets of Madhya Pradesh ranged between 100 to 150 bales, reflecting a steady inflow. Despite the arrival, no change was observed in the average price of Kapas and cotton seed. However, an improvement of Rs 300 was noted in the prices of cotton candy.

The average price of Kapas remained stable at Rs 6000 to Rs 7500 per quintal. Similarly, the price of cotton seed showed stability, quoted at Rs 3000 to Rs 3350 per quintal.

Cotton candy saw a notable rise of Rs 300 at both lower and upper price levels. In Madhya Pradesh, the 29 MM 75 RD cotton was trading at Rs 58000 (+300) to Rs 58300 (+300) per candy, with one candy equating to 356 kg. Meanwhile, the 28.5 MM cotton prices were quoted at Rs 57500 to Rs 57800 per candy.
