Arrival of 30,100 Bales of Cotton Noted in Major Producing States

New Delhi, May 23 (Commodities Control): On Thursday, cotton arrivals in the markets of major producing states across the country totaled 30,100 bales, a decrease from the 35,000 bales recorded on the previous trading day.

Of these, Punjab and Haryana, along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan, accounted for 1,400 bales. Gujarat recorded arrivals of 6,500 bales, while Maharashtra saw the highest arrivals with 17,000 bales. Madhya Pradesh reported 900 bales, and the combined total for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana was 2,500 bales.

Additionally, Tamil Nadu received 300 bales, Karnataka mandis saw 1,500 bales, and Odisha had no arrivals.
