Russia's IKAR cuts wheat crop, export forecasts

Mumbai, 21 May (Commoditiescontrol): Russia's IKAR agricultural consultancy has revised its forecasts for the wheat crop and exports. The wheat crop estimate has been reduced to 83.5 million metric tons from 86 million tons, and wheat exports are now projected at 45 million metric tons, down from 47 million tons. Additionally, IKAR lowered the overall grain crop forecast to 132 million tons from 135 million tons and total grain exports to 57 million tons from 59.5 million tons.
