Ahmedabad, July 01 (CommoditiesControl): The coriander market in Gujarat remains sluggish due to a lack of demand, despite stable prices. Recent rains have contributed to this trend as farmers have shifted their focus to sowing, leading to a continuous decline in the arrival of coriander in the market. Traders report that the current demand is low, with local and export trades moving at a slow pace. This has created a generally sluggish atmosphere in the market, with little significant activity.
In the futures market, a softening trend was observed today. Over the past two days, Saurashtra-Gujarat has experienced good rains, prompting farmers to engage in farming activities, further reducing the market arrivals.
