Cotton Arrival of 38,900 Bales Noted Across Major Producing States in India

New Delhi, May 8 (Commodities Control): On Wednesday, the arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states of the country reached 38,900 bales, compared to 33,850 bales on the previous trading day.

Of the total arrivals, Punjab and Haryana, along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan, contributed 1,300 bales. Gujarat witnessed the arrival of 10,000 bales, while Maharashtra saw 22,000 bales entering its markets.

Madhya Pradesh recorded 2,000 bales, and Andhra Pradesh-Telangana combined welcomed 2,500 bales. Additionally, Tamil Nadu received 100 bales, Karnataka mandis saw the arrival of 1,000 bales, and Odisha reported no arrivals.
