Ahmedabad, May 4 (CommoditiesControl): Coriander prices remained stable in Gujarat on Tuesday, with a continuous decline in arrivals across the region coupled with sluggish demand contributing to the steady pricing trend. Traders noted the decreasing arrival of coriander at trading centers, while the lack of export trade and low local demand further supported price stability.
Today, around 16,500 bags of coriander, each weighing 40 kg, arrived in Saurashtra, with the entire Gujarat region witnessing an arrival of about 20,000 bags. The average price of coriander stood at Rs 1,360-1,560 per 20 kg.
Trading activity in various mandis reflected the stable pricing trend. In Gondal Mandi, against the arrival of 8,000 bags, trading occurred at prices ranging from Rs 1,491 to Rs 1,871. Similarly, in Rajkot Mandi, where 1,800 bags arrived, prices ranged from Rs 1,250 to Rs 1,490.
