Mumbai, May 24 (Commoditiescontrol): Chilli prices in Warangal markets exhibited mixed trends on Friday. Prices for the Teja variety dropped by Rs 1,000 per quintal, whereas prices for the 341 variety increased by Rs 800 per quintal.
Despite these fluctuations, overall demand from stockists and exporters remains low. This tepid demand is likely to keep prices stable until mid-June. Market arrivals were consistent with previous sessions, reported at 7,000 bags.
Although prices are currently at a multi-year low, they are expected to remain range-bound with a slight negative bias due to the subdued demand.
