Coriander Prices Soften Due to Lack of Demand in Gujarat

Ahmedabad, June 22 (Commodities Control): After several days, the arrival of coriander in Gujarat exceeded 10,000 bags. In recent days, the average arrival was around 7,000 bags. However, today, due to lack of demand despite the increased arrival, coriander prices softened by 10-15 rupees per 20 kg. Traders report that the demand for coriander remains sluggish, leading to limited market activity.

More than 10,000 bags of coriander arrived in Saurashtra today, with the average price in the state ranging from Rs 1,350 to Rs 1,550 per 20 kg.

In Gondal Mandi, 6,715 bags (1 bag = 40 kg) were traded at prices between Rs 1,391 and Rs 1,751 per 20 kg. The Rajkot market saw 3,500 bags arrive, with trading prices ranging from Rs 1,200 to Rs 1,540 per 20 kg.

The Jamjodhpur market received 900 bags, while Junagadh market saw 2,300 bags. Jetpur had an arrival of 600 bags, and other markets collectively received around 2,900 bags.
