Mumbai, July 12 (Commodities Control): Clove prices in Kottayam have remained stable over the past month. The prices per kilogram have been consistent, with Comoros cloves ranging between Rs 890-920, Madagascar cloves between Rs 910-930, and Sri Lankan cloves between Rs 900-930. Domestic clove prices in Kottayam have been steady, ranging between Rs 1,020 and Rs 1,040 per kilogram.

In Shimoga, the price range for a kilogram of cloves has remained unchanged since the previous session, holding steady at Rs 1,040 to Rs 1,060. Additionally, in Kottayam, the price of clove stems has remained constant at Rs 130 per kilogram, the same as the previous session.

The stability in clove prices is indicative of balanced demand and supply dynamics in the market. Traders anticipate that the prices will remain steady unless there are significant changes in market conditions or supply disruptions.
