Cotton Arrivals Across Major Producing States Remain Stable

New Delhi, May 15 (Commodities Control): The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states of the country on Wednesday totaled 31,400 bales, remaining relatively stable compared to the previous trading day's arrival of 31,500 bales.

Breaking down the arrivals, 1,400 bales were recorded in Punjab, Haryana, Upper, and Lower Rajasthan combined. Gujarat witnessed the arrival of 8,000 bales, while Maharashtra saw 17,000 bales. In Madhya Pradesh, 1,000 bales were reported, and 2,500 bales arrived in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana.

Additionally, Tamil Nadu saw no arrivals, while Karnataka mandis recorded the arrival of 1,500 bales, and Odisha witnessed no arrivals.
