MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Burma urad FAQ/SQ variety traded unchanged at the Chennai market in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday amid limited buying by mills at existing rates only to meet their immediate crushing requirement due to liquidity crunch.

Buyers are cautious amid arrivals of summer crop in Madhya Pradesh (Jabalpur line) /Gujarat (Rajkot line) and as Nafed is also active to liquidate old/new procured stock in selective states.

Moreover, demand for processed urad remained dull from consumption centers.

Urad FAQ/SQ variety traded unchanged each at Rs 4,800/100Kg and Rs 6,000, respectively in ready delivery as per condition.

In forward business, Urad FAQ/SQ traded at Rs 4,925/100Kg and Rs 6,100, respectively for whole June delivery on buyers option.
