Spot Jeera Remains Steady Amid Limited Demand

MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - Spot jeera prices remained steady at the major Unjha and Rajkot markets in Gujarat on Tuesday amid limited demand.

Total arrivals today stood at 10,300 bags.

According to traders, exporters' demand was weak in the market. As far as production is concerned, it is expected to increase this year.

Jeera for delivery in December at the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), ended higher by Rs 130 or 0.81 percent at Rs 16,235 per quintal after moving in the range of Rs 16,270 and Rs 16,055.
