MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - Spot red chilli prices ruled mostly steady at the major Guntur and Warangal markets on Thursday after remaining weak for the last few days due to the decrease in arrivals.

According to traders, farmers are holding their produce after a decline in the price over the last few days. At the same time, the mandi committee of Guntur is also running an awareness campaign about not dropping the price to the middlemen. In such a situation, purchases in red chilli have increased at lower levels.
