Burma Urad Flat At Major Mkts, Domestic Variety Mixed

MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Burma Urad remained almost unchanged in Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata markets on Saturday amid limited mills trade activity despite less imported stock.

Moreover, offtake in processed Urad still reported to be thin.

On other hand, new domestic variety Urad traded mixed, as per quality, at selected markets amid limited mills' buying and ongoing arrivals.

Nafed has sold Kharif 2018 procured Urad between Rs 5,421-5,423/100Kg in Madhya Pradesh and Rs 5,350/100Kg in Rajasthan on 4th December.

Cyclone Burevi 'practically stationary' over Rameswaram for 30 hrs, likely to weaken in 12 hrs.Severe waterlogging in various parts of Tamil Nadu's Rameswaram and Puducherry witnessed following heavy rainfall in the region; visuals from Natarajapuram area.

Arrivals of new Urad are likely to begin in near future at Kurnool and Nellore district Andhra Pradesh.

Krishnur district arrivals of new Urad will begin from February end 2021.
