Overseas demand up, uptrend in chilli market

Mumbai 23 September ( Commoditiescontrol ) : Positive note on price front noted in Guntur chilli market today. Prices of deluxe quality Teja increased today on account of good overseas demand from Bangladesh and China.

Even 334/S10 has improved due to demand from the South. Both 355 Byadgi and Syngenta also moved positively on export support. There is shortage for Deluxe quality in all other varieties. Domestic demand is average. Arrivals today were 80000 bags. Warangal Market remained closed today due to the death of a trader.
