Mumbai, 26 Oct (Commoditiescontrol) – New Kharif Moong traded higher, as per quality, at Bidar, Yadgir, Khategaon, Kekri, Nagaur and Sri Ganganagar market due to millers buying activity on immediate requirement for crushing.

However, offtake in processed Moong reported thin.

On other hand, commodity remained weak, as per quality, at Tandur, Latur, Kishangarh, Merta, and Rajkot markets on thin trade and ongoing arrivals.

Old variety Moong declined by Rs 100-200/100Kg at Harda, Indore and Pipariya market on slack buying from local and outstation millers-traders despite less arrivals.

Rajasthan origin new Moong traded unchanged at Rs 4,500-7,000/100Kg, as per quality, at Naya bazaar pulses market of Delhi.

Regular overseas supplies of imported Moong at cheaper rates has kept prices under pressure.
