Jodhpur, November 26 (Commoditiescontrol) Guar seed and gum prices extended fall in the last session of the week amid selling pressure. Guar gum prices dropped Rs 400 per quintal in the physical market while futures fell over 4.5% on Friday. Similarly, guar seed prices dropped Rs 100 per quintal at spot while futures declined nearly 3% amid weak sentiment.
Guar seed for auction was at Rs 5400-5800 per quintal while it was offered at Rs 5900 per quintal in all paid. Guar gum prices traded at Rs 10,700 per quintal today.
Arrivals were around 41400 bags.
At National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for delivery in December ended Rs 506 or 4.58% down at Rs 10,545 per quintal with Rs 10464 and Rs 11000 as low and high of the session.
Guar seed for delivery in December ended at Rs 5915 per quintal, down Rs 180 or 2.95% from the last session on the NCDEX.
