Jodhpur, November 29 (Commoditiescontrol) Guar seed and gum prices continued their bearish trend on Monday due to high arrivals of new crop and weakness in future market. Guar gum and seed prices were down due to selling pressure, as per the trade analysts. Gum futures settled 2.50% down from the last session.
Guar seed for auction was at Rs 5300-5600 per quintal while it was offered at Rs 5750 per quintal in all paid. Guar gum prices traded at Rs 10,400 per quintal today.
Guar seed prices dropped Rs 150 per quintal while gum prices declined Rs 300 per quintal.
Arrivals were around 4300 bags.
At National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for delivery in December ended Rs 264 or 2.50% down at Rs 10,290 per quintal while prices of guar gum dropped to Rs 9,921 per quintal, lowest level since October 5, 2021 when priced fell to Rs 9,800 per quintal.
Guar seed for delivery in December ended at Rs 5,837 per quintal, down Rs 85 or 1.44% from the last session on the NCDEX.
